Listed Online
Once approved, your item goes live on Garage Sale and is visible to local buyers in Namibia.
Get Paid
Buyers contact and purchase through us directly. Once the item payment has been received, you will be connected with each other to arrange the hand over and our office will pay you within 5 working days.
Selling Guidelines
Quality Standards: Items must be clean, functional, and accurately represented. We only approve items in Good to New condition.
Honest Descriptions: Disclose any minor wear or tear. Transparency builds trust within the Windhoek community.
Prohibited Items: No illegal, unsafe, or counterfeit goods. We do not accept perishable items or used undergarments.
Commission Fees: Garage Sale charges a standard 15% commission on successful sales to cover platform hosting and marketing.
Logistics & Courier: Courier arrangements are handled directly between buyer and seller. We recommend meeting in secure, public areas.
Approval Process: Listings are reviewed within 2 working days. Items not meeting our quality bar will be returned for editing.

How long does the approval process take?
Once you submit your item, our listing team reviews the details within 2 working days. We check for photo quality and description accuracy to ensure local buyers get the best experience.
How is the commission charged?
Garage Sale charges a direct 15% commission on the final sale price of your item. This fee is automatically deducted before payouts and allows us to continue connecting Namibia's buyers and sellers.
How do payments work?
Buyers pay us directely. Once the buyer confirms the item collection or delivery in Windhoek, the funds are released to your verified bank account within 3 business days.
How can I edit or remove a listing?
You can manage your items through the 'My Account' portal. From there, you can update asking prices, add more photos, or deactivate a listing if the item has been sold privately.
